Nancy Anisfield is an outdoor writer and photographer, and the creative entity behind the Ugly Dog Hunting Company. She is a contributing editor for Versatile Hunting Dog and field photographer for the Ruffed Grouse Society magazine. Her background includes being a commercial illustrator, English teacher and corporate copywriter. Obviously, this woman can’t figure out what she wants to do but does figure if she keeps putting off a permanent decision, she’ll have more time to hunt, train her bird dogs and take photographs.
Nancy and her husband, Terry Wilson, live in Hinesburg, Vermont, where their lives are carefully managed by her two German shorthaired pointers and his three German wirehaired pointers.
